DR. REBECCA NICHOLS
Associate Veterinarian, DVM
Dr. Rebecca Nichols is a 2008 graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. She completed a one year small animal rotating internship in Seattle, Washington, and spent the next several years in small animal practice before moving back to the Midwest in 2013 to join the staff at Stray Rescue of St Louis. While at the animal rescue, she picked up many skills, including minimally invasive sterilization techniques, management of canine and feline behavior problems, and effective strategies to treat and contain infectious diseases. Even though she found shelter medicine very rewarding, Dr Nichols missed the relationships she was able to develop while caring for other people’s pets. She was very excited to join the team at Fox Creek Veterinary Hospital in 2019. While her special interests include surgery and dermatology, Dr Nichols enjoys anything that will help strengthen the bond between an owner and their pet.
Dr Nichols lives in Chesterfield with her husband Mark, her kids (Zach, Annie, and Ben), two dogs (Chance and Cricket), and single cat (Felix). In her spare time she enjoys hanging out with her family, doing art with her kids, gardening, and occasionally taking in a yoga class.
