The importance of vaccinating your dog or cat cannot be overstated. Many of the diseases we vaccinate against can be life-threatening even with dedicated treatment, so an ounce of prevention is definitely worth a pound (or more) of cure! Some diseases, such as rabies or leptospirosis, can even be transmitted from pets to people, so making the choice to vaccinate your animal can help protect your entire family’s health, two-legged and four.
Emergencies happen, and we’re here to help. Fox Creek Veterinary Hospital is fully-equipped to handle almost every urgent care need you might have, providing state-of-the-art diagnostic technology to determine the problem and experienced doctors and staff to treat it – all in a quick, efficient and compassionate manner. Best of all, if you’re in need of urgent care during business hours, we can often fit you into our schedule the same day you call.
Don’t wait for hours in a parking lot when your pet is in pain. Call us first, and we’ll do our very best to help.
Dental disease is one of the most common diseases we see in dogs and cats. Tartar and plaque can quickly lead to health issues such as kidney, liver and heart disease. Oral exams are an important part of a pet’s annual check up, allowing the doctor to personalize the necessary dental care. We offer advanced dentistry procedures as well as routine dental cleanings and consultations.
Skin disorders can be quite common in many animals, but often go untreated (fur hides a lot). At Fox Creek, we offer many services to help diagnose and alleviate many conditions, including:
- Allergy Testing and Treatments
- External Parasite Control
- Infectious Disease Treatment
- Auto immune and Endocrine Disorders
- In-house and reference lab testing
Setting your furry family member up for a life of success starts with appropriate care early on. We recommend having a full physical examination performed as soon as you bring your little one home to ensure that your new pet is healthy.

If you are traveling with your pet, there may be additional certificates, vaccines, testing or medications required by your destination state or country. Your pet is required to have a valid rabies certificate and may require a microchip.

Although heart problems are found more often in older pets, these conditions can affect pets at any age. Heart disease is usually a life-threatening condition, but early diagnosis and appropriate therapy can extend your pet’s life.
We can discover many heart problems during a physical exam. Additional tests, such as an electrocardiogram (ECG), radiographs (x-rays), and ultrasounds, are usually needed to accurately identify the cause of the heart disease or failure.
If caught soon enough, some forms of heart disease can be cured.
For those patients who find traveling to the hospital difficult or stressful we offer house calls. This can be convenient for large breed dogs, geriatric patients, or anxious pets. This service also includes compassionate in home euthanasia. So your pet can be surrounded by the comforts of home and family.
We offer services for small and exotic animals including but not limited to guinea pigs, rabbits, sugar gliders, hedgehogs, rodents, and other pocket pets.
Cold laser uses a beam of light to stimulate damaged cells to produce more energy. This allows cellular function to increase, allowing more rapid absorption of nutrients, elimination of wastes, and cell reproduction. The new cellular activity speeds up healing and recovery by alleviating pain and inflammation, reducing swelling, and increasing circulation.
If you have ever lost a pet, no matter how briefly, you know how terrifying it can be. You worry about your pet’s whereabouts and whether he or she will ever be returned to you. One of the best ways to help maximize your chances of being reunited is to have your animal microchipped.
Veterinary technicians regularly check on the pets, and our kennel staff monitors the boarding area. In addition, we can arrange for one of our veterinary team members to provide overnight monitoring for senior pets or those with certain health issues.
Our hospitalized patients are cared for by our trained medical staff. Overnight care is available when necessary.
